Project Child operates as a community coalition which includes an active group of volunteers who bring expertise from health care, social services, education, child care, business, divinity, law and law enforcement, and everyday life.

• Volunteers are vital to the fulfillment of Project Child's mission, and opportunities exist in many areas including:
• Join a task force
• Help with mailings
• Become a financial supporter
• Participate in the Tortoise and Hare 5K Race
• Invite a guest speaker to your organization
• Help a friend, neighbor or relative who is a parent
