Brief Coalition Summary:
Project Child is the child abuse prevention coalition in the Lehigh Valley. We provide public education, professional development, parent support, legislative advocacy and specialized programs in order to prevent child abuse and neglect and promote positive parenting practices. Project Child is a program of Valley Youth House.

- Weekly column in The Morning Call on a parenting topic
- A variety of handouts for the community including Child Abuse Primers, in four editions -For Secondary Educators, Pre-school and Elementary Educators, for medical Professionals and for Citizens
- Public speaking engagements to educate the community on child abuse prevention topics

Learning to Care
- Program designed to teach elementary aged children empathy and nurturing skills features weekly lessons and a monthly visis from a caretaker and baby.
